Deborah

 • Series: Early Childhood (Birth - 5 Years Old)

In this week's BridgeKids' Adventure Preschool, we learn about a woman named Deborah. Deborah was a prophet. She listened to God and gave people messages from God. Deborah helped God’s people—the Israelites—know what was right. That was a big thing to do! One day, God gave Deborah a message for a man named Barak. She told Barak the message from God. This was a really big job, so Barak asked Deborah to go with him. Deborah and Barak got 10,000 men to fight in the battle, and they won just like God said they would! Deborah and Barak were so happy God helped them that they celebrated God with a song. You can celebrate with a song, a dance, or giving a high-five when God helps you do big things like Deborah and Barak. All of these are ways we can tell God thank You because God helps me do big things! Today’s Bible Story: God help us do big things. Deborah • Judges 4:1-10, 14; 5:1-31 Memory Verse: “I know that God helps me.” Psalm 54:4, NIRV Key Question: Who helps you do big things? Bottom Line: God helps me do big things.
